Hornbill Industrial Training Delivers CompEx in Oman
Hornbill News

PDO, the national oil company of Oman in the Middle East, required internationally recognised and reputable hazardous area training and in-house training facilities.

The CompEx Scheme is now the global solution for validating core competency of employees and contract staff of major users in the gas, oil and chemical sectors, both with offshore and onshore activities.

Hornbill installed a hazardous area training facility in Oman to CompEx & JTL standards, which can train up to 10 people at a time. Our fully qualified and experienced trainers deliver the training to delegates in line with CompEx Certification Body JTL to prove competency of persons who work in explosive atmospheres.

The facility and training Hornbill delivers, meets IEC standards, primarily IEC 60079: parts 10, 14 and 17, competency validation and certification for electro technical and mechanical crafts persons working in explosive atmospheres.

Owing to this partnership, PDO can be rest assured that the facility and training of their personnel within hazardous areas is fit for purpose, consistent and meets the globally recognised standards for validating core competencies.
